oh myfucking god it was COOL ! he openend up with some language part, telling us austrians he hasn`t been here in 7 years but still likes to play. then he openned his set (it was 22:15) with some well known songs. don`t ask me for names i`m bad with them (it have been well known songs). after opening with private press stuff he changed to drum and bass for some seconds. after that he felt back to the known shadow rythms. after 2 hours he finished, but came back for another two songs ( the guitar track from preemptive) ok, this is a very short review, i`m too drunk to give more exact info but afterall it was a vey nice concert, no special surprises, but still a very good one. maybe i can give you guys more impressions tomorrow ... (really drunk remember =) ps: i`m going through the bootleg right now - its 170 minutes good stuff . be prepared 8) |

shadow was here in zurich for 2 weeks, 3 big screens, 2 fat tunrtables, an akai mpc2000 sampler, was to nice. he played some very cool versions from his unkle albums, lonely souls etc. |

of course i do 8) ok first cut is done, 66 minutes pure genious shadow. its encoded with 192kbit and about 90mb large. i`ll do another mp3 in 256kbit, lets see if it does some difference. (the boot is recorded from a stream with quite low quality so i think the 192 version is ok and after all it sounds much better as i thought) everyone who wants that rip sends me a mail to sepix@gmx.at |

192 is more than enough, was the stream in stereo or mono? you could prolly make downloads easier on people and make it 192kbps but 22khz (assuming it was in 22khz, or put it at whatever it was broadcast as) and mono. |

yeah... i saw shadow last month.. it was amazing..especially for the encore when he brought out a live drummer and did this weird improv stuff... did he show the film by b+ before the show there too? |

yep he showed this movie, also during the show vid`s where shown. but the best camera angel was the one looking directly at his hands while scratching =) |
