since i'm gonig to uni and its a flat city i'm thinking
about getting a bike to get from a to b fast. i've got a
pretty expensive mountain bike already wihch I won't want to
take cos of the chances of it getting nicked...so I was
thinking about a cheap bmx that I could treat like shit and
not care about that much...any of you have experience with
them?

alternatively I could get one of those 80's electric 3
wheeled things

hm but with a bmx, you only have one gear and it's harder to
cycle on steep streets, no ? it depends what how long you
have to cycle per day...

bmx's are cool, they're light and you can do some tricks,
and if you pump it up, you can be really fast also...

i read somwhere that rdj is cruising around london on his
bike
and it was funny
the reporter asked him if he means a motorcycle-and he
answered something like "no its an pedal pushing bike"

Go with the BMX. Far more fun, racers get knacked real
quick.

Get something with gears, not the BMX. That is if you just
want it purely for traveling from A to B.

bmx bikes aren't terribly reliable. as jedi chris said, get
something with gears to make the purchase worthwhile.
bikes are nice and fast.
