Sounds awesome! I've been replaying the original over the
weekend. It's a nice move to have the main character a
woman.

Jedi Chris: yes.. its looking good. I really want to get it.

Resident Evil: Yes, the first one is classic, I own the 2nd
one on PS2 and really want to go buy the first one, ive been
meaning to do that.

They say that there will be a good few changes to the story
type and characters and action in the game, more guns,
even.... a machinegun! But they said to not worry, because
it will always be Silent Hill and never be one of the
Resident Evil series. By that I mean it will focus more on
what it already has done, the creeping fear, not the "boo" I
scared you from around the corner.

I haven't played the first one yet. But the ads on tv for it
are freaky. I remember when they put out the ad for the
first Silent Hill, It was scary.

farrk, sounds like another freaky ride from Konami which
sounds more beefed up than their previous efforts. I'm glad
to hear that those creatures "with legs for hands" will be
back, I thought that was awesome character design.

The Silent Hill games are very, very high on my list of
games that I give a damn about.

I think they are some of the best games ever made and I will
definitely buy 3 when it comes out.

The fact is that Silent Hill has a great Atmosphere.
I haven`t played the two, but I think that they should add
stuff like the characters progressively going mad.
There is nothing scarrier than the human mind.

I just played Silent Hill 2 couple weeks ago. FANTASTIC
atmosphere, but the fog in the town really drove me to
suicide.

I might buy it if I see it for a reasonable price, I LOVE
survival horror.

Um... that's pretty much what happens in both Silent Hill
games. They're both psychological thrillers.

Iroel: the 2nd Silent Hill has what you want, people slowly
going crazy as the game goes by.... one in particular, well
actually 2 of them, but one of them REALLY goes craaaazy. I
love Silent Hill..... one of the best games out there.

the first one was brilliant, did anyone else get the cheesy
abducted by aliens ending?:D
the second was good, but not great, not much happens, too
easy, too short, but it did have great atmosphere.the script
wasnt very good, more like a straight to video horror.
i will probably buy the third when it comes out, they do make
games unlike any others, which is a good thing
