I think Orbital are underrated geniouses...they combine
accesable tuneful music with more experimental sounds and
complex layer-based structures...what do you think?
The only dissappointing album was TheAltogether imo...but
the rest is great.

I haven't liked too much of what I've heard by them, they
seem a bit too generic and average to me. I LOVE Halycon/On
and On, but even that seems a bit too ''normal'' for me. I
don't like the dancey feel.

They were real heroes of their time. Recently they sound
kind of tame. I still got love for them tho'

Jesus! Orbital are CLASSIC British Techno! I assumed
everyone held them in the highest regard. They didn't used
to be underrated geniouses. They are pioneers of sorts.
Once heralded as the best live techno act on the planet.
They were the first real techno I heard, way back in '89.
Ah, Belfast...Chime!!!

Back to Mine wasn't a proper album, so you can't judge
it..it wasn't even by Orbital....
I can't understand how people could call Orbital too
normal...apart from their first two, and last albums, they
have been very bizzare and inventive in places imo.

Orbital are the greatest. But personally, I think their best
album was Orbital 2, IMO.

You hated the last two?

I really enjoyed The Middle Of Nowhere...There are so many
great moments and surprises in the music imo...and it has
flawless production.

i strongly dislike it. anyway the productions flawless, but
