ross: yeah, i have to agree with you. sometimes a man has to be seperated from his music, and his music is 100% genius regardless of richard d james, the man himself. i mean, fuck, i've never met him, so how can i say anything about how or who he is. i can only really discuss the music that he wrote, which is something else entirely. |

rdj if it is really you!?It is really hard to get your older hard to find music.It goes for big prices (check ebay).I know you probily dont care to release new stuff.Can you re-release some more older stuff along with the polygon window release?The gak stuff,pac man, indicator is really good and the only way some of us can find it is on mp3. also, keep in mind that if you plan on buying a cd second hand, It's just the same as stealing it off napster, because the record companies get nothing from it, It's just like sharing except you pay for it, So if you're planning on buting a cd second hand, to avoid the guilt of being unlegit, you might as well get it off napster, It's the same thing also if there's a product that you want, but don't want to support, but it second hand (I don't want to support the playstation 2 because it fucked up what little chances the dreamcast had, but if I buy it second hand the money isn't going to them, so that's ok in my books{and also now sega is developing for PS2 so I can still support sega!}) moral loopholes, aren't they amusing? |

tekno..I have a used cd store around here, and while they have pile loads of crap, i have often found cure, depeche mode, kate bush, flaming lips cds..I buy them because theyre 7 dollars, and i dont have to go and buy them new for a lot more..I never thought that it wasnt going to them, i think it's better than burning it, because you feel better to have the original cd, i dont like the look of burns, personally..once i saw someone who had all their cds in their collection as burns..i almost died. |

I don\'t ever feel guilty about downloading MP3s because: 1) Downloading music doesn\'t harm album sales. 2) The record companies deserve it for being so evil, charging so much for CDs, and giving the artists small cuts of the profits. I think single sales are falling - well that\'s good! They\'re a fucking rip off! It\'s about time we see an end to stupid rip off singles. Or like I was trying to say, ALOT of the musik on napster is bad. Because the people who ripped the song did not do it right, get the whole song or added their own stuff into the mix.Napster has just made me want to go out and buy the artists cd,record ect...But what sucks is when you get old afx songs that you have never heard before and you love the shit but you cant go out and buy it because there was only a few released. |

look if someone's to cheap to buy a record.. they're just to cheap to buy a record they wouldn't buy it anyway... they can live without that particular record. i've downlaoded a few of RDJ releases (complete albums) because i'm interested in his work... and i won't buy his stuff just to 'check them out' also his releases here are very hard to find (if not impossible), and also veyr expensive so... but i've aslo bought some official releases. about 3... and that's enough for me to not feel guilty |
