Girl/Boy song is my favorite AFX track... I own RDJ, Come to Daddy EP and SAW II...but that's it. So, I'm looking for more songs like GIRL/BOY Song...symphonic like, maybe with a nice beat or whatever. Just something beautiful like that that's NOT on the albums listed above. Appreciated!!! |

try "pancake lizard" on the donkey rhubarb ep, a really beautiful, emotional track...not dissimilar to girl/boy song or maybe "nannou" on windowlicker. you should also definatley get "i care because you do" it has a few girl/boy-ish moments. |

If you like those awesome snare rush's in Girl/Boy I suggest you check out Squarepusher - Port Rhombus QUESTION FOR ALL OF YOU: Richard claims that Girl/Boy song is call that because some tracks are girl tracks and some tracks are boy tracks and Girl/boy is both. Which one do you think his songs are? List some tracks and whether you think they are girl or boy tracks...I would be interested to know... maybe light stuff like On = girl track Windowlicker = boy track your thoughts? |

this is going to sound ridiculous, but i never really read the liners in cd's, or take much notice of the cd case, so i don't have any idea what the actual names of most of the songs on most of the albums i have are. i just know them as "track no. 5 on such and such album". so i have to ask, what album is girl/boy on? |

i love 'girl/boy', too. great track. and yes, check out pancake lizard and nanou... ...and glass' koyaanisqatsi, symphony no.2 and 3, passages, dancepieces and the violin concerto. afx described himself as 'a huge fan of glass', so i guess these pieces were a kind of influence, not only on girl/boy. |
