This is only for people that really want to hear my music.

it

you can listen to my new stuff..but only if you must..it may

it's quite an interesting structure..the erratic beats and
spattered rhythms are quite tasty..but once the mind
processess this repetitive albiet elaborate and highly
syncopated pattern..there's nothing to keep you hooked...

sounded kind of Atom Heart-ey. Would be great as background
music to some documentary about whales and other fishy
things. The clicky, scratchy, glitchy stuff is surprisingly
NOT annoying, gives the track a nice raw flavour. Yeah,
nice.

Whos adam heart?

yeah, i showed the track to my parents... expecting them to
hate it, cause its "clicky. scratchy, glitchy"

but they liked it, and said the same thing, its suprisinly
not annoying

Hehe

thanks for listening man!

Zeus,this is such a fucking masterpiece,you don't even know
how great and professional this sounds...It just blew my
mind up the roof,Saturn and back.....Congrats on this and
other ones coming ahead..............==)
Which program did you use for processing all that??????
It just doesn't sound like FL or ACID....

offline Zeus from San Francisco (United States) on 2002-08-17 00:28 [#00353202]
Points: 14042 Status: Lurker

woah!

thanks dude! this means alot!

i used Reason.

i did alot of experimenting to get the sound i wanted... and
it was pretty unconventional.

you can toggle the front/back of the instruments and
connect wires to different ports

so i was triggering effects this way.

it took a while to get the sound i was looking for... but it
came out in the end!

Thanks again man!

You're very welcome,no prob man,that's the truth....Sounds
very professional, besides I know it had to take lots of time
to do it..........Reason,wow,that's such a powerful
program, wich one do you have Reason 2.0?? With sound
processing and a sampler.......

I'm sorry to say I think it isn't so great. sounds really
repetitive to me. there has to be something there that makes
my head go "wow!". it isn't in here.

I would like to know what you think of my stuff.. be
brutally honest!

a ha!

i knew thered be people who dont like it!

ah but if the drums are what its about why not just keep the
drums, drop the rest.. ;)

if I would listen to it in a musicological (jesus thats hard
to type!) way I would see how it changes. I just don't hear
it in total.

I'll download the other too soon..

Definitely very Autechreish... I like it a lot. It sounds
like tiny little footsteps or something, pretty eerie... and
crickets. I'm out in a field at night, and little things are
running around me in the darkness. It's so fucking annoying
because I can't SEE them. Nice mental image, that's what I
listen to this weird stuff for.

I like how you keep complexity evolving and dynamic qrter.
Your track is mad too zoos. I probably agree that the
drumish parts would be better alone because the other sounds
(an echoy grasshoper sound or something especially) are
repetitious relative to the drumish sounds and maybe
subtract when repeated too much. The fade in/out of noise is
great. Maybe you could have the repetitious parts come and
go instead of always being there. The sound quality makes
modplug tracker seem pretty lame.

I like your other 2 songs better, but this one was ok, would
be better if the drums flowed in a good beat. Then again
that's just my opinion, and I'm dumb.
