Just tryin to find something on that wave.
Let´s say... electronic minimalism...

one of my personal faves....

But yeah, I guess you have to be in the right mood...it's
not exactly party music...unless you are on some
particularly strong elephant tranqualizers :)...

Have you checked out some of Richie Hawtins later
albums?...they are easy to get hold of and altho more
regular than PS, that pure minimal vibe is still there (the
things that guy can do with a single 303 are amazing...)...

I've got a ton of this stuff at home but names/labels elude
me at work so I'll get some recommendations sorted later...

Meho's well into this sort of stuff as well...where are ya
mate?...

I'm 'ere.

Well, the later Pan Sonic (Aaltopiri) is even quite mellow
and poppy, compared to their early stuff. The best stuff
they ever did were their EP's: fucking pounding techno but
still bleak and alien. Their solo releases are also
excellent (some are even better than Panasonic/ Pan Sonic
stuff itself): Look out for Ilpo Vaisànen, Mika Vaainio and
Ø and also for the album that both of them did with Alan
Vega from Suicide, it's incredible to hear their robotic
techno alongside his Elvis-like singing. Yeah, later
Plastikman/ Ritchie Hawtin stuff sounds somewhat like Pan
Sonic but is still warmer and funkier. His bleakest album is
"Consumed", there's almost nothing there but the memory of
techno...

Pan sonic are fantastic, no cunt around today can touch
them, organic analogue fuckery never sounded so good.

Speaking to Paul Smith of blast first the other week and he
says they are 'in the studio' as we speak......

COME AWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWN

How beautifully put... (and yeah, I am being serious...)...

I'm back.
Lottathanks Meho.

I just got Altopiiri and A. But gonna buy it all.

One curious thing:
The other day I was in a dinner-party at my sister's house.
A friend took his cousin there. She was Finish. Everyone
strted talkin bout music, and a guy made a joke about "Well,
sure we can't listen something from your country!! Ja, ja,
ja..".
Guess...
SURPRISE! I Got something! (Of course, got all kinda
things...)

She explined me the meaning of those strange words in theeir
titles.

and that took 2 weeks...

UK post seems to be ok when sending within the country but
anything from abroad seems to take forever...

BTW have you got the AE GG DVD/CD?...or Confield?...or AFXs
ABB3?...I've got spare originals of these so if you want em,
let me know....

heptanary: what? they stink that bad?

Jonesy: you're a fountain of knowledge when it comes to RH,
I can tell. Keep up the good work.

Jand: well, when I send Jonesy the CD's it usually takes
about 6 days, so I'm worried. And about those CD's DVD's on
offer, thanks, but I haven't got the money.

been on all night I'm checkin' thru the older threads and
low and behold what do I spy with my big brown eyes?! A Pan
sonic topic! How cool is that?!

Hey jand, uh... you said, "BTW have you got AFXs
ABB3?...I've got spare originals of these so if you want em,

let me know...." Could I bother you for one of those bad
boys?

Just listened to 'Medal' by Pan Sonic and Alan Vega. His
voice sounds like a parody of Jim Morrison.

Ha: I'm surfing for some porn, using the link provided
courtesy of Spikee Dragon and I run into this cute girl
saying she's a real amateur, sporting excellent webcam
stills on the first page, asking me to register for my free
password so I can watch her do naughty things, and there's a
list of her favourite music artists, and Mos Def is first on
the list. Baby!! Where have you been all my life!!!

But you know what? You're right, Vega does sound kinda like
Morrison in places, the track "No home kings" in particular.
