I'm planning a sort of DJ set, except with MP3s on a PC instead of vinyl. I will be playing at parties, where the audience hasn't heard of aphex or braindance stuff... try playign quoth and quixote or however its spelt. ALso try mixing complex mathematical equation into the end of windowlicker, it sounds wicked!!! What software are you using? I use atomix mp3, not registered version, i'm too cheap :) |

Oh yeah, i 4got, My mate usually uses Scream by mighel jackson, and it always goes down really well near teh end of teh evenign when everyones drunk or whatever, dunno why, gud luck :) |

yeah :) Or if you REALLLY want to fuck them up mix SAW II 2gether. That can be pretty mad. Yeah, like, play one track an have some of confield or something like almost silently over the top, and they don;t knwo if they are actually hearing it. Makes me laugh!! |

Rob... you should probably play more than 5 artists... put some truly hexagonal dope into your set such as Atari Teenage Riot, Kid 606 and Coldcut. If you wanna just make noise, I suggest you put a microphone in a blender and watch the crowd go wild. |

i think you should play arch carrier and pen expers by autechre. i dont know much about djing, so do you mix any sounds or beats of your own over what your playing, rather than off another song? |

that's way too few bands. you shouldn't play one band more than twice, try. kid 606 cex squarepusher photek mouse on mars. fantasic plastic machine (for kicks) spectrum (if everyone is tripping out on acid, muchrooms, or extacy) whatever..................... i'd get rid of the prodigy. orange dust man has some cool shit. find him on this board...... get his website. i got all his songs. some a really good, others i'm not crazy about, but nothing bad in there. prodigy though? ewwwwwwwwwww.......... |
