first off, me and my mates got in free cos the bouncer recognised me from my earlier days with a martial arts club, yet his name/face was totally unfamiliar to me............!! Disappointed with the unusual lack of visuals at the Temple Bar Music Center, we proceeded to boogey to the cheezey Electro of Keith Tenniswood........he kept it stomping for a full hour/half as the crowd got steadily bigger yet, as always at this venue, never swelled to friction-burn proportions. Either Depth Charge or Mat Carter then came on and threw a ton of tech/house beats at us as Mike Dred set up his IMacs......yokes were dropped, girls chatted-up, a few joints rolled for after and we fucking jived and twisted our way through the mad break/beat/acid/electro journey Mike took us on.......... a few distorted 'laptop dancing' tracks thrown in for good measure and i was caned off my chops....met a gal, back to hers and drank myself out of a reasonably light comedown the following day.....FUCKING TOP-CLASS Next week DJ HYPE at the sdame venue followed by my grannies 80th at some posh hotel....god knows if i'll make it through that one! |

Sounds good! Had a good one meself, club thing went well on friday... Drank heavily through till sunday. DJ Hype followed by Gran's birthday eh? Sounds like a recipe for disaster / paranoia! Do it anyway... |
