MIB II = shit

I just saw it. well thats another 2 hours of my life thrown
away.

what happened to telling a story? hardly anybody can do it
anymore in Hollywood.

I'm really thinking about never going to see blockbusters -
I'm just perpetuating the shit being churned out
constantly.

probably won't last though..

well those are different
one is a book
the other is a comic
you cannot go wrong with movies based on such cause you know
what to expect

99.999999999% of movies from hollywood are shit and i
wounder why would they spend the money on crap instead of
giving it to art students and independant artists and
directors
and foreign too

Yeah, they have to eventually throw a curve ball at us with
the titles.

MIB was a comic before it was a movie, but that's no excuse.

i saw MIB 2 with low expectations and was still very
disappointed.
its short, its like the movie was boring so they edited out
20 minutes of story out and only left the the barest
framework left of a storyline. at least that was my
impression. and no chemistry at all between Will Smith and
anybody else.

and sequels... they know that even if it gets bad reviews it
will still have a decent opening weekend... and then they
know they will sell it to blockbuster, sell the dvd in
decent numbers and then repackage it together with the first
movie and sell it again, and sell it to HBO or whoever...
its really a very low risk venture for hollywood, even if it
sucks.

i think it would be cool to make a film apart from
hollywood.

directors like chris cunningham & alex rutterford would be
fit for such a consideration. =)

Speaking of blockbusters I just saw Triple X, mainly because
Rammstein's in it for 10 min. But it was your usual actiopn
flick, kept me entertained for 100 min

But by the way, yeah, MIBII Was shit, I don't know what they
were thinking, nothing about it was funny nor
entertaining....

MIB was OK, but it was one of those films that you sort of
say "yeah I've seen that..." and that's about it!

Can't say I'm that fussed about seeing the sequel....I'll
probably watch it when it comes out on TV

but I laughed out loud at some of the jokes... it was mainly
stupid tho.

no. I didn't think it would be good. I thought at best it
would be entertaining. it was just tedious and boring.

lord of the rings was VERY good. I was suprised at that one
(although I did think Peter Jackson could just maybe pull it
off)
