Back to the topic...

Rainy in Summer?

This lunchtime the pub I was in was struck by lightning. The
doors rattled and all the electrics went off including the
pumps.

There was so much water in the road I slipped and nearly
fell trying to get back into the car in a hurry.

Pirotess: I have asthma too, but apparently my breathing is
10% stronger than it should be for someon my size age and
weight! How's your peak flow reading these days?

i agree with Pirotess... light misty rain on a hot summer
day, i like! ^^

...the weather is getting just a little better these days,
but i still feel like summer and holidays ended at the end
of june... end of june was the better period, for the
weather as well as for the holidays. now the weather is like
in autumn/winter, lightless white skies, low temperatures,
etc. -_- the good things which differenciates this from
spring, autumn or winter is that trees are green and that
i'm in holiday... but so bored... nothing to do, nobody
around, and still feeling nostalgic about the end of high
school (not that i liked high school that much but i've got
some nostalgia)... etc, etc...

mela mela mela mela melancholia
melancholia mon cher...

I'm actually glad that it rains. It so damn hot and dry in
Tucson, we needed it. So I don't think I can ever get the
blues when it rains, rather you gotta watch for delirium :).

Its awful when it rains in summer here
it stays hot and just adds to the humidity, sends the smell
of rubbish fermenting in bins on the street wafting through
your windows

Well, I'm just about to set off for work on what should be
an unbelievably HOT summer day. Fuck, I don't know how I'm
going to make it through this.

I wish every day was gloomy and cloudy and foggy and misty
and grey and wet and damp and dark and dreary. The sun is
such a hideous ball of terror, floating up there trying to
exhaust me, the fucker.

I'm moving to the UK someday so I can get a taste of that
wet weather.

Yeah...come to the UK! Today is exactly how you have
described it, where I live!

Hehehe

Yeah, I hate the lethargy and slow wittedness that heat
brings. Give me a chill to induce iefficiency any day :)
