I think the first step towards redemption for chesimone would be to stop the practice of blanket stereotyping...attributing the crimes of Zionists on all jews is just as bad as calling every Muslim a terrorist.. Zionists are an entirely different species from the rest of the Jewish community..they are the equivalent of the KKK in Christian garb.. I think this guy has a reasonable grievance against the Zionist state of Israel and its despicable treatment of the Palestinains, but he's not mature enough to see that it has nothing to do with religion or Jewish people per se. There are more Jews in New York State than in Israel so any equation with Zionism and Jewish people in gerneral is proposterous. As Flea said, during WWII the Zionists blocked Jewish migration to the US and did little/nothing to help the Jews fleeing persecution. Don't fuck with us". I've put it rather crudely but that's what it amounts to. And what of the bombs dropped on Vietnam tek? The US dropped more bombs on Vietnam than all the bombs dropped by both sides during both world wars. And for what end? |

Ha ha, on my first weekend in Bristol I had nothing to do so I tagged along with 2 mates to the young tories bash. The people were elitist, ill informed and boring. The guest speaker (some nondescript old tory back bencher) was talking about drug abuse in prison and was using info years out of date. I was quick to point this out to him in the "point of information" format of debates. After that people pretty much left me alone for the rest of the night.
