Weathered stoner: G-sus! you scared the piss out of me with the start of 01! nice though! i really dig the mood of 02[beta] very dark, so of course i like it, and the way the punchy beat compliments the swooping melody! real nice production on it as well IMO! i really dig this tune, but you should have turned the ending into a bridge instead of ending it! that' just my opinon with ketchup and cheese though! give the new dude some opinins pholks>he only has one song and it isn't that long. my opinion>you develop a real nice sense of atmosphere, adn i do mean a real nice one! since you only have one track, i'm gonna have to comment on it though. there are some nice ideas, though that is all it sounds like>a repeated idea. from the soudns of it, you use reason too. so do a million others, and it is a rad program, but you would be best to avoid using their soundbank, as so many peopel migrate towards the same samples>that predator noise, or bird or whatever it is. i have heard that in probably a dozen tunes already. and the drums sound generic, but you aren't really playing that up. fo rthe beats you are composing, you might want to add fukt drum samples as well>maybe triggering more than one at a time. i think reason has some effects built in, so you might experiment with tose a bit. remember there are a million people making music with the same three programs, so you need to find your signature. don't get me wrong, you have some nice ideas, man, but you need to ellaborate upon them and you definately have a knack for atmosphere, so play it up! check out the above links to get a feel for the diversity of which i speak. there are a lot of talented artists on this board, and there is tons to learn, just make sure to keep an open mind and don't give up! post a few other songs when you get them and let us know on this thread if you'd like! i'm always up for new musik! |
