This song is the most fabulous song I've heard in a
while... it seriously sends shivers through me each time I
listen to it... It's gotta be like one of the best, if not
THE best combos of rap and jazz out there, because it's real
jazz, not just samples (well maybe, but it's samples of them
playing)... and the harp solo at the end is beeeeautiful!!!
:)

check it out!!

I was listening to this on the bus today, and I noticed lots
of cool time signatures, and switches in songs... for
instance, I believe it's Flite is in 7/8 time, and Man with
the Movie Camera switches from 6/8 time to 4/4... correct me
if I'm wrong, but I believe that's right...

yes, they do do alot of that... but i dont think ive ever
stopped and listened to the exact time signatures
ill have to do that

one song that has a weird time sig, and i didnt notice it
for the longest time, its transmissions/(forget this half of
it) by Dj Shadow

its in 7/8 (which is a very unnatural feeling usually) but
ive been listening to it, and never notice till recently...
he did such a good job getting it to groove!
