Just noticed these were mentioned as part of
onedotzero...other films that Alex has done for AE...

eutow / autechre
sound engine / autechre
gantz graf/ autechre

GG is out & about obviously, but how about "eutow" & "sound
engine"?...anyone got any idea what they are?...

sound engine?? well that 'thing' in gantz graf looks like it
could be a sound engine, maybe a working title for the video

I've just had a look at the onedotzero program I think they
might be short films he's done for Ch4...they did this make
a video for £500 thing and he was involved doing something
for AE so perhaps it's these...

I've got an interview with him at home...I'll have a check
of that; might mention something...

I don't have mine handy at the moment, but did the old WARP
video "motion" have any stuff by Alex on it?

just checked with Creative Review and he did do a short film
with AE music for the LoFi competiton...so looks like those
might be the ones mentioned...

Don't know about Motion...I don't think so tho...the name
doesn'r ring a bell...

He was involved in a few Chris C videos tho...a lot of the
graphic work on the robots in AIFOL, and also Come on My
Selector...

He's also done a small film called 3Space based on music
from Mozarts Marriage of Figaro...

oh yeah, he was a graphic designer on Judge Dredd...we all
have our bad days I guess..:)..

btw, could that piece of music you hear on the gantz graf
dvd when the ae logo appears be a snippet of a new track?
well? could it?

There's generally a DVD that goes along with each onedotzero
festival so hopefully they'll find their way onto there...

I can probably get an email addy for him so I'll ask him
about em if I can...

mm..more info for ya...

Sound Engine is another short film Alex did for onedotzero2
(back in 2000)...AE prodviding musical backing...

3Space (which has a similar look to GG...but this time kinda
flying thru an architechural space...) is out on DVD on the
lastest GASBook #10...Sountrack by this Mozart geezer...

There's no onedotzero DVD yet but one is planned for this
year as well as a Book (with another DVD)...there's no idea
what's gonna 100% be on it but as Alex has been doing these
festivals for years, it looks like there be at least some of
his work...

Is anyone else going to onedotzero4 in Nottingham this
year?...I've been told there s gonna be a London date a lot
later but it's all a bit up in the air; think I might have a
trek up t'north...long time since I've been to Notts...&
these films deserve to be seen on a big screen...

if I hear anymore, I'll let you know...
