Ever go on a ''break'' from listening to something/body
that you love?

I haven't listened to Autechre for a couple weeks, other
than maybe one or two tracks.

Now, I'm back listening to them all day, and I realize how
much I fucking love them. Jesus, they make my life complete!
Zoinks!

Isn't it great to stay away from somebody and then come
crawling back to ecstacy?

Listening to Viral Rival, thanks to whoever pointed this
track out the other day, it's so fucking great...

DJ Shadow

I think I saturated my brain with endtroducing and started
to get too sick....six month later, I remember why I loved
it so much

pearl jam is a band that i always get a craving for when i
know i've left them on the rack for too long!
same with afx's i care because you do, which coincidently
was played between cheap trick adn pearljam's set at molson
park a few years back!
i think i was one of the 3 people of ten;s of thousands who
got it and was sitting for the next 40 minutes with a huge
richard grin!
that grin took in my skull with the first few notes from
pearljam's corduroy.
gsybe! also falls in this category of craving.

i recently got off a very long break from radiohead and
aphex twin. i've just now started listening to ok computer
and SAW 2 and they're better than they've ever been.
its good to take long breaks, makes you appreciate it more.

i do it all the time with all my cds

usually it just happens, but recently ive been trying to
self impose it on myself...

im listening to so much boards of canada, that its making it
hard for me to write any music that isnt like them

need a breath of fresh air to gather myself

I hadn't listened to Tool all summer until a few days ago
(they used to be my favorite band) but now I don't like them
as much as I used to. So I guess it doesn't always work
like it has for you guys.

I get on very small cycles with cds, I will listen to one cd
nosntop for like 3 days and then go to another, so im
constantly listening to all my favorites and it never really
gets old..
