A Bugger, I only downloaded the demo :-(

Yes I know this is yet another reasonably pointless thread,
but give a gal a break :-p Or...else!

Do you mean .flp files?

Loads of people here make them, but due to the hassle of
importing the appropriate samples, fx & instrument etc. most
people just trade them once they're MP3d.

Why is it that everything I hear made in FL, May sound ok
but also sounds like a bontempi organ and a rather sub
standard drum programmer? I can always tell when someone
uses that program and even tho the tracks most people make
are laid out great the samples just sound so fake and cheep.
I really hate saying this as it's bound to piss people off
but I can just instantly tell when a track is made in FL.
With FL you can make good tracks but they never sound
professional enough to be released. I can imagine the guy at
the record label stamping it FL and throwing it in the bin.
I never use FL and never will. I just feel that if you
experiment you will find a better audio solution.

What I'm trying to say is the tracks I hear from FL are good
but not releasable past mp3 on a free site in my eyes. I
certainly can't be too much of a critic tho as someone could
very much prove me wrong. As of yet I'm still waiting. :(

Some "real" signed artists use fruityloops.

I agree that the built in samples are a bit gash, but when
you start using VST softsynths etc. it really is
indistinguishable from reason tracks (floops is, after all
just the sequencer for the instruments). You can also make
your own instruments (I usually do) in drumsyn...

Here, look- I've brought up my "Is it *really* a toy"
thread.

I normally listen to independent or independent record label
music btw.

But all the tracks made on FruityLoops just sound straight
from a bloody PlayStation game to me. I'm jet to hear a
track made in FrutyLoops that you can't instantly say, Ok,
Bit of Floops there.

Who are the 'real' artists that use Floops dude?

Some pretty impressive songs have come out of
fruityloops.... and the music put out by the NU artists here
are fine examples!

I'll just let this drop. If you find a track made on Floops
that don't sound like it's made on Floops tell me and I'll
listen. I just think when you depend on it you don't get
anywhere. :/
