This compilation will be up on the new server for three days only! All information is to be found in the ID3-tag (and yes, I have corrected the small mixups) Basicly (for those who don't know) this is one big song of multiple artists songs, mixed together, and with some added efx, by manicminer. enjoy! and please share if you think it's good! |

Thanks. It's only as cool as the music that's on it though. There really is some talent on this board. What would be cool is if we could regularly have a compilation like this put up on Xltronic. Would that be possible Phobia? |

Thanks man. I'm a bit surprised to be honest. I did it in one take because I wanted to get it out of the way. It therefore only took less than an hour to do. If I do another mix, I'll put a lot more time into it and I can guarantee it'll be a lot more impressive...... I'd quite like to make this a regular thing..... |

you did use some kind of effect besides the compression right? cuz there is a background noise on all tracks and in my track, the keys sound a bit different |

If it is a error, it's because you used a bad mp3-convertion (or so it sounds) meaning that all tracks that was recorded in 160kbps+ have that noise, while the rest remain noiseless. |

Hey Junktion :) The background noises are just sounds from the other tracks while I've been mixing. eg at the start of your track you can hear some of the effects from the track before for a while. As for the change in key, this is because I've adjusted the tempo of tracks so that they will fit together (beat mix). This means that the tracks will sound slightly different in key to their original MP3s. All intentional - no mistakes! |

no man...listen carefully to the original track of mine, and then listen to the NU SOUNDS version....theres a background noise through the whole song...it's on other tracks too...what programs did you use for the mix (including mp3-converters) |

I used CD:ex to convert the Traktor WAV file back to MP3. I'm sorry if there's a bit of background noise. Not much I can do about it now though...... It doesn't spoil it that much though does it? |

I downloaded it last night and I'm listening to it now, great job for the artists and manicminer! It sounds really good. I like the title too, perhaps if this becomes a series then we can make them called Nu Sounds 1, Nu Sounds 2, etc. |
