i do it thorugh my amplifyer which is built into my sub

Take a 1/8 in. to RCA plug from the speaker out put and plug
it into your reciever...

It's a plug that would go into a headphone jack on one end
and has the standard red and white rca plugs on the other
end. One of the most usefull cables one can buy...
