Ok, I've read a lot of complaints recently about things that are bringing this board down. .nu'ers "spamming" their music being one of them.
I would just like to ask what the big fucking deal with "spamming" music is. This being a community, I can't think of a reason why you all wouldnt be THANKFUL that an artist on this board shares his/her work. Aren't you people interested to see if it will be something you really like??? In the short time I've been here, I've found songs from users of this MB that I like to the point that they are in my regular rotation of mp3s with AFX, BoC, []<, Brian Eno, etc. Instead of reacting with curiosity and kindness to others sharing their work, you people become irate at the "spammer" who just wanted to get some feedback or maybe just share it in hopes that everyone else will enjoy it as much as he/she does. I'm sorry but I can't think of a better example of what is unbecoming of a COMMUNITY.
I hope no one is offended by this post, this is merely just what I have seen to occur.

Spamming is fine by me unless..that's the only contribution the poster ever makes to the board...i.e the only time they post is to spam...even then I dont mind..I am just a bit less enthusiastic about checking their stuff out.

It's not spamming, it's over-spamming/invading threads to spam one's tracks, sometimes even "disguising" a spam, trying to pretend one is dropping a valid point.

i'm in the same boat with 006. i think it's because i use streaming audio as opposed to making them available in mp3.
imo, if i see the option to stream, i'd rather do that, adn then if the song really kicks my ass, i will look for the disc it came from.
i really dislike mp3s, so i guess i'll have to live with no comments on my shite.

I think that if people are willing to let people listen or download there tracks for free that it is a great thing. I have broadband at my house (which I am not at , at the moment) and its a great thing. The more music the marrier. Sure some of it isnt all that great (ie old MC Spatula tracks) but some people relally try on there tracks. So I say bring on the music. I think people are just jealous that they cant make tunes
