I run a small business for a wealthy businessman and have
recently discovered a loophole where i could siphon off cash
into my own account. I have always been an honest soul and
have never really stolen anything in my life now that the
opportunity presents itself i am drawn to the darkside.
what do you think i should do???
PS i am poor as fuck.

how much cash is it? I would probably do it if I was poor
and it wasn't a noticeable amount of money...

Don't do it... no matter what. If anything goes wrong.

even if it's a sure thing, 100%, stranger things have
happened and you can still get caught.

Also, if you are an honest person, It'll rack you forever.

Are you talking loophole like the half pence one in gas
companys billing system where literaly no-one lost out?

Even if it's as good as that, I suggest you report it to
him. Hopefully he'll reward your honesty with a payrise or
bonus. At least you won't be liable for fraud (which,
technically it is, as you'd be defrauding your boss, even
though he's already losing the money- the fact that you are
benefitting from it would look bad...)

I guess it's a U.K thing, it's the face of a Big Brother
contestant super-imposed on a michelin tyre baby. Very
scary.

If you can definately get away with it, do it!
So long as you don't steal money from people, just from
banks etc (coz they are fully instured for the losses) !

Morally this would not be wrong. Your employer makes his
profits directly from the labour of you and others he
employs. He only pays you a fraction of this in wages and is
therefore is exploiting you. BUT, you could get caught and
get put away (though this unlikely if its a first offence).
You have to weigh up your chances and the rewards.

He he, watch the little marxist go :)

From a moral standpoint you'd be right to do it in that I
presume no one would be worse of for you doing it. However,
the law would take a different view...

I disagree about not being put away for a first time
offence- fraud is seen as a serious crime, it's not like
petty shoplifting. If the new ruling comes in too, you won't
have a jury in fraud cases so you're less likely to walk
free on a compassion vote.

I guess it depends on the judge. I had a friend from school
who defrauded Barry Council through cheque fraud. He took
thousands and rather stupidly kept it under his bed. He
avoided a sentence.

Did you ge tone of those "Stop council fraud- stealing from
the council is stealing from you" leaflets through the door
with your bin bags? It had a form to report people you knew
that were defrauding the council. My dad wrote "various
councillors" on it :)

Ha, ha. Good on your dad. Its a shame he's right. No I
didn't but I might follow your dad's example. Did he send it
off?
Funnily enough I was going near gibbonstown last week and
saw that councillor who was done for fraud.

BTW have you heard what these councillors are getting? Some
in London have had an allowance/pay increase of 190%. And
yet they say they can't give council workers %6.

If its going from his business account to your account,
there would have to be a trail at least it would be on your
bank records. if it was cash maybe. but this sounds risky
even though it appears safe to you. I wouldnt do it just
because there will be a record of it where your account is.
