i remember there was an art house playing both requiem for a dream and dancer in the dark. my friends and i planned to get tickets for both to do a double feature. thank god we ended up getting there too late. probably would have went home and killed myself (great movies though). |

there are 6 versions of that song, Album Version Video Version Strings Funkstrorung Exclusive Mix Plaid Mix Guy Sigsworth Mix and '(homogenic) album version' has no beat. video version is only on 'all is full of love' single album. |

Don't get me wrong -- I think her voice is great! I'll give an example of one of the songs which I consider to have a directionless vocal melody:'Hunter'. The music is fantastically atmospheric, but it sounds like she's making up the tune of what she's singing as she goes along. Of course, there are songs in which her ut vocals work really well with the music,eg. 'Army of Me'. |
