I just picked this up yesterday, but it's FANTASTIC!!! It's
amazing really, you should all check it out... I believe the
way it this album was done was the band recorded themselves
playing, and then the main guy sampled that and put it
together... it's very jazzy, but is much darker and more
melencholic then the jazz I've heard... and it features the
vocals of Roots Manuva on the track All Things to All Men
which is amazing, and is totally shiver inducing... sends
shivers down my spine everytime... It's similer to DJ
Shadow's Endtroducing in sound, but it sounds much more
"live" then Endtrocuing, and it's much more jazz then
endtroducing... you should all check it out, it's really
amazing!!

oh yeah, and the bass is a stand-up bass man... A STAND-UP
BASS!!! It's so cool, the sound has much more personality
then a normal bass...

This is the best album I've heard in a long, long time. I
think its all live Funkmaster. On the sleeve it notes which
bandmember plays which instrument on which track. It really
does have a live feel to it, which is refreshing. Though I
can appreciate the merits of sampling, there's nothing like
the sound of a live band who can play their instruments
well.

I can't wait for the next one. They should have a lot more
in them. Motion was great but this album is a step ahead.

Excellent album. I read somewhere that what they did was
improvise around a sample they liked or something. I don't
like Motion near as much.

it's absolutely brilliant in the title track, "every day."
gives me chills.
