Well.. I'm new here. Strange thing is, I've been listening to RDJ here alone for 4 years or so. It is hard to get stuff on him in my town and I'm probably the only person locally to listen to him. This is the first time I've explored the community of aphex twin and I think this is pretty cool. I can start by ripping all of his songs on the cd's that I do have (Richard D. James and I care cause you do) on my hard, download the other ones off Morpheus (temporarily, until I can find a place that sells his other cd's. Even the online websites are all foreign. Not very America friendly), and download all the remixes made by the fans. Then when I get a cdplayer that can play mp3's, I'll totally burn everything and have the ultimate aphex cd. Bwahaha.. Anyhow, does anyone know where I can find a place for an aphex logo? I don't like the concept of buying a tshirt, I'd rather make my own. |

Actually all of Aphex's stuff will take more than a single CD. I think I have two CDs full of mp3s of his stuff. Nothing wrong with ripping Aphex mp3s, I own and still buy a shitload of his albums. MP3s are just way more convenient. I keep em on my home pc, on my laptop, and on burned cds (i have one of those car mp3 players). So i have all of my music with me wherever I go. I dont even really use my original CDs after burning them, it's a hassle carrying around a big book of CDs |
