pinback is pretty good, most their songs sound the same
though. too mellow and not enough variation but theyre still
pretty good band.

i downloaded bola's latest, really good. also that jello
album.

one idm act everyone should try is arovane. especially the
album they made with phonem: aer (valid). the most beautiful
thing i heard since vespertine

lot of their songs did sound the same.

true, but their sound is pretty much unique. it was a bit of
a disappointment that the progress from their first to their
second album isn't so big, but the sheer beauty of the songs
makes it alright

get isdn. its their best.
i'm pretty sure cobains got a side project coming out, but i
have no idea when the next full FSOL album will appear.

That guy in Snapcase, the 'singer', gets on my damn nerves.
Always sounds the same.

Meshuggah is another one on my underrated list.

snapcase is one of the better hardcore bands. except
refused is king. dillinger escape plan and cave in are good
as well.

he's an 'idm' act from the us. his latest album is iron
city, which mixes ambient with hip hop beats and some
autechre. good stuff!

i know that's vague :)

he has a different approach to songs. sometimes it seems
there are various songs in one track. always surprising

this is his homepage

http://music.calarts.edu/~jmciln/

i think there are samples there, but you'd better download
something off soulseek.

if you'd try one song, try 'invisible' from iron city.

Millions living now will never die and they have a remix
album too called Tortoise: Remixed. I don't have their first
one either, but the third CD that I didn't mention up there
that I do have is called the Digest Conpendium and it is
just that. Has some things from their first record and
Millions... etc.

it could be longer but its not too short. i think its good
length because its not too long and not too short but I know
what you mean. sometimes things end earlier than you want.

Lots of bands are under rated. It doesnt really matter as
long as they keep a record deal and hopefully they can go on
tour. Other than that I could give a fuck less what the
masses think about a band, as long as they don't put it in
my face.

i stop liking the bands or artists when tyhey start becoming
famous to a comercial level
except bjork
i prefer my bands and artists to be a bit more underground
and less influenced by the record companies for mass
marketing
