around...eheheh......OR maybe i'm the EVIL one. however this
is a fun word, i acutally used it when referring to Ophecks
ze other day!

doppelganger (DOP-uhl-gang-er) noun

A ghostly counterpart or double of a living person.

[From German, literally a double goer.]

Don't you recognize Ron Jeremy, aka "the Hedgehog"?

Ehh, Lecoeur, i am around here every day, more or less, but
the difference in Timezones means we don't see much of each
other. But I do get to read all those posts where you tease
all those young male MB members and add to their wet
dreams...

Hey, I thought everybody knew that my avatar is famous porn
actor Ron Jeremy dressed as Super Mario. I have been using
it for a week or so...

Motorhead: i am seeing them tonight as they are coming to
Beograd after like 13 years. And the word Motorhead used to
be a slang word for amphetamine user back in the late
sixties/ early seventies. Or so i'm told.

Motorhead is a UK slang term for a Speedfreak...

Haven't heard it used for years tho....except in reference
to the band (which is where they got their name from..)...

Motorhead are one of my fave bands ever. they are considered
metal but are really beyond and above all genres but rock
'n' roll. Motorhead = sdrenaline. Jand, you remember when
they had lemmy in THE WIRE how there was a protest from
snobby artsy readers?

Uhh, I meant adrenaline.

I don't remember that but it doesn't surprise me...there
were tons of letters about them featuring Thom Yorke on the
cover recently, basically saying he was too mainstream for
The Wire...

Pity about the snobby attitude really as it's a pukka
magazine...occasionaly it dissapears up it's own arse but on
the whole it pisses over any of the other music mags...

I've got a lot of time for Lemmy, he's bloody funny & as
clever as fuck...not a big fan of the music, my older
brother was into them in a big way when I was a kid so that
kinda put me off...

Yeah, I'm just writing an email to jonesy regarding
Motorhead, so I'll paste a part of it here:
"Yeah, Motorhead. Can you believe it: I have been listening
to this band for the last 20 years. God, I AM OLD!!! No
sleep til hammersmith is still the best live album I have.
One of those albums I first had on tape, then on vinyl, and
then on CD (with Bonus tracks). I guess I'll buy it on
whatever new format it appears, eh: neural implant cubes or
something... Seriously, it's a fantastic album, not a weak
moment in it. When lemmy says "Thank you... Bomber!" it just
calls for some serious headbanging. Not to mention the
beginning with "Ace of Spades" or the way the side b starts
with drums onslaught leading into "Overkill". The band that
is so good that the years could not harm it. I have their
latest album and it rocks. Way to go Lemmy."

Ahh, yeah, i remember them having Thom Yorke on the cover
and the war it caused in the letter pages. I was really mad
too, and Bjork on the following cover did not do much to
calm me down either... But the last ish had Keiji haino on
it and that kinda did it for me...
