i finally bought this album yesterday, and put it in and played it, and i don't really know what to say. this has to be the biggest surprise i've ever had from a new album (from any artist). i like it much, but i definitely wasn't expecting this...

i'm not disappointed with it, by any means. it's just that after listening to come to daddy, windowlicker, and the rdj album, all of which are full of mind-numbing snare rushes, and disorienting backbeats, the last thing i expected was an album that has virtually no percussion. it's so airy, wide, and smooth. i was expecting it to be ambient, but not this full speed ahead with soft, calm sounds. honestly, it has me blown away....it just further shows how brilliant this man is.

Thats why AFX is so good. He doesn't stick to the same style of music.

its different because its ambient, not braindance, its ambient with a twist, but still ambient none the less.
ambient = good.

I still haven't bought it yet, I keep hesitating, I got over the price, now I found out it's the US version, so I'll probably just order it after I finish saving for computer upgrade stuff.
