i just switched back from xp to 2000

and now i cant access watmm

or hotmail..

and various other sites

and yes i have ie6

and when i try to sign in on AIM is says

the aim service cant be reached..

this has to be with settings

Okay here's how it goes in Win2K.

Desktop -> Network Neighborhood -> Properties

Now click on your connection and select Properties

Then click Internet Protocol (TCP/IP) and click Properties

DNS servers are listed at the bottom -- make sure that they
are the same IP numbers given to you by your ISP.
