Refused is abosolutely one of the best band that ever was.
I love theyre lyrics especially on the shape of punk to
come. "Dance to all the wrong songs, enjoy all the wrong
moves. Were all dressed up with nowhere to go, We want the
airwaves back, we dont just want more airtime, rather be
forgotten than remembered for giving in." thats a few
samples. those are all so good. if you dont have this cd go
buy it and all theyre others as well. even if you dont like
hardcore punk metal. this is quite different than anything
youve heard.
the discography you need:
-This just might be the truth
-Songs to fan the flames of discontent
-Ep compilation
-Demos compilation
-Shape of punk to come: a chimerical bombination in 12
bursts
-New noise theology

they are indeed a "chimerical bombination." international
noise conpsiracy isnt nearly as good as refused but check
them out too, not hardcore punk a la refused but still
pretty good. from the songs ive heard Survival Sickness is
better. I only have New morning, Chaing weather but the
other 1 seems better.

sounds like their name is under the implication that they're
trying to 'gather' more people for their 'efforts' to be pop
kings rather than producing their own stuff regardless of
what people think.

'the new beat'

yo, check us out...we're new.

Refused is one of the most non commerical bands there ever
was, they hate capitalism for one thing and theyre
socialists from sweden.

i know its a socialist country im just saying that theyre
not capitalists and theyre from sweden so it was easy to
just say socialists from sweden. they could be socialists
from an other country too so I was just specifiying.

hum.....sweden isn't a socialist country, it's run by social
