so after seing an interview with Thom Yorke, I realized
that the rock-spirit was somehow digitalized to idm. Like
Thom mentioning that while the recording of "Kid A" he was
listining to Autechre and Aphex Twin, and then the
interviewer asked why he didnt want to play guitar anymore.
He couldnt really come up with a single answer and waited
for a couple of seconds and said "yeah ok.." locking to the
floor "I guess it just don't do anything for me anymore".
It's like he was embarressed that he didnt play guitar
anymore, and that Radiohead's journey into electronic was
something that in some minds would put them in a bad light.
So is rock pausing while electronic takes over?
