I'm on a break from RDJ, and even Squarepusher. I've been
listening to Boards, Autechre, Bogdan, Snares, Telefon Tel
Aviv, and basically everything Rephlex...

I'm sure I'll be back soon though..

i usually listen to different things everyday. i absolutely
hate weezer now. theyve lost all credibility. i dont even
like blue or pinkerton much anymore. whats a good bjork cd
to start with? is starting with post a good idea?

I meant Debut since its her first. most people dont seem to
like that 1 but is it ok to start with or will it give me a
bad impression?

I take breaks from time to time... I'm the kind of person
that'll get into an album, and listen to it non-stop for a
while, and then NOT listen to it for another while... I've
been into Drukqs the last little while, and now it's some
Squarepusher... and BoC as always!!

I go through all the cycles. I'll go a week without
listening to Richard, then go another week where I can't
stop.

At any given time, there's only about 4 artists that I'll
listen to during a period, these 4 artists rotate.

i haven't been sick of RDJ's music ever since i picked it
up... always a layer or a musical glitch i have never heard
while listening to his music over & over... it pity's me to
think that someone actually gets bored of him, considering
that he's so popular. i dunno really... I GOT SICK OF BOARDS
OF CANADA.

that depressed me.

MachineofGod, I think it depends what kind of sound you're
looking for. Homogenic is very beat-driven, with some quite
industrial moments. I have heard Vespertine described as
her most 'feminine' album. I can appreciate this, as it
does have a certain gentle quality about it. It is the best
album in many people's view. Post is quite varied in sound
and mood, but not bjork's best. Do not start with Debut! I
did, and was not particularly impressed. Although there are
some fantastic moments, I (and many others) consider it to
be her worst album. I reckon you should start listening to
Homogenic or Vespertine first. Bjork is a truly amazing
woman. Enjoy! xx

yeah vespertine is pure beauty. download the track called
unison if you're not sure

homogenic has beautiful moments, but i cannot listen to the
last few tracks before all is full of love...

again once youve listened to it fully already. wait a few

I must say...i never get bored of his music, it's so
layered. I like putting 5 of his cd's on the stereo carousel
and then putting it on random. It's really cool:)

I go through phases with Dick James' music, but it's like
that with everything I listen to. I have been looking at the
artwork on Drukqs a lot lately though. I love his
chicken-scratch handwriting.

Right now I'm listening to a lot of: Ruins, Phoenecia,
Squarepusher (Do you know Squarepusher [which I still intend
to buy when it comes out, just couldn't wait] and Music is
rotted one note), Cerulean, Chroma, Tortoise and my own
stuff.
