Right now I'm going through this phase where I just can't
finish a song. I have about 10 songs sitting on my computer
screen that I just won't finish. All of them are pretty good
but It's just when ever I get close to finishing a song I
just get bored of that one and move on to another, It's
really starting to piss me off. =(

if the inspiration's gone don't force yourself into rushing
the songs. it'll come again. listen to other music :)

I used to do the same thing. What really helps is listening
to what you have over and over. Finally you start imagining
what the ending would be like if it had one.

The more you listen to your own stuff the more ideas you get
for the song.

Hope this helps.

I have like over 70 unfinished songs on my HD, they are all
shit.............Most of the time I know what I want the
song to sound like, but I lack the skillz and the technical
knowledege, to create the sounds that Ive got in my
head.....

with my unfinished songs (which i have LOADS of) I just let
them play in the background, over and over - like
weatheredstoner said - and then I'll eventually think of
something if i have an instrument at hand. I'm doing it at
the moment actually!
