Have you seen the video Funkmaster? I like it , really not your typical hip hop video.....but then again Quasimoto aka Madlib aka Yesterdays New Quintet is not your average hip hop artist hehe! Get the album " the unseen"!!! Come on feet is a strange track, what is those slammering dubby noices that is so loud in the mix? Why did he bother putting those in as they really don't have any musical funktion imo. And he always sample the same movie , sounds like some drunk black dude talking nonsense? And those long pauses and short track lenghts, like he really don't care about it at all ? Anyways, i like it =). |

yeah I've seen the video... it's really cool imo... you can't go wrong with puppets!!! :) I love the song though, it's so freaky and weird... I read in a review somewhere that that druken sounding voice is the voice of some spoken word artist person or something, and it's taken from one of his albums... I forget his name though!! |

Yeah you can't go wrong with puppets=) Have you seen the Weezer Muppets video? Raimons posted a link here a couple of days ago. MachineGod::I don't know how much he has released as Quasimoto? I know his latest release is "Astronaut EP" Same quasimoto style same spoken word artist sampled again hehe! Check out all the whicked Madlib tracks and remixes too. |
