Bubblegum Crisis Tokyo 2040

Does anyone else here really love this anime?

I love it :-)

Does anyone know if there is a soundtrack? I love to
background music. Mostly that banging techno tune that pops
up around most boomer crazyness. Also I love that ambiet
tune inside Cylia's house/Shop thing.

sorry, dont know anything about that actually, but I know
that I love The Ghost In The Shell movie, and I really want
to get a hold of the soundtrack, but its allmost impossible
to find.

Akira was better than the Ghost In the Shell, for sure. I
have the Akira soundtrack, its killer as well.

Ninja Scroll is my faveorite anime, it's awesome!

Venus Wars is a close second.

Akira is probally my 3rd fave.

im going to disagree with you in a way here Reflex, I think
Ghost In The Shell beats Akira one the sound and overall
look, but Akira does have a slightly better story line, even
after translation, which allways fucks things up.

Does anyone else like "Gon" ???

I find most Anime frightfully derivative and homogenous,
with the exception of Akira.

Akira had a wicked storyline, and the scenes it in are
great. Especially in the olympic stadium at the end,
amazing! At the time it was revolutionary animé shit. Oh
well. Ghost in the Schell was too short, and didn't go deep
enough into the cyber world as I was hoping, again, oh
well... what about Battle tank Dominion, or whatever its
called.

Samuel Barber on 2001-07-29 23:26 [#00018549]

Dominon Tank Police; I only seen pat 3 & 4 though. That was
the film anime I ever saw.

Tek from Australia on 2001-07-29 23:58 [#00018554]

I'm a pretty heavy anime fan,.. but I really don't like
BC,.. the animation and shortcuts made in it throw it into
the ground,..

I want to see serial experiments lain,.. that is supposed to
be good,... I can't wait for spriggan,... and I want the new
akira dvd release (featuring a whole new dub!) also neon
genesis kicks arse

A whole new dub?

Yeah Akira DVD special edition came out just recently.
