hey steve, i was just reading thru your previous posts and
i'm intrigued by some of the things you said (the Drukqs
thing, the AB5 thing) --- you seem to really know your shit

steve mcqueen was the second coming, but when He got down to
earth He found that there were so many more things to do
down here now than there were 2000 years ago, like driving
fast cars shagging drinking genrally living life in the fast
lane ;) he was the daddy.

fake interview.

we talked about this interview months ago on both this site
and Joyrex.

some loser just made the whole interview up...I feel sorry
for that loser, I think it was the same guy who made
www.drukqs.com he must get a life.

offline steve mcqueen from caerdydd (United Kingdom) on 2002-07-14 19:37 [#00309000]
Points: 6531 Status: Addict

oh yeah fake eh? i'd love to know how you came to
that conclusion. I'm pretty certain its the genuine article.
Mick Thompson (the guy who did the interview) also did the
drukqs.com site but the interview is NOT fake. The guys a
real music fan not a LOSER.

This bit:
"...and i was left in a tiny corner completely penned in
with just my friends protecting me,with all the humans going
completely completely INSANE..."
made me chuckle. "humans"? I conclude that it wasn't
written by rdj, but by an alien, probably from the planet
Cynt. Or not.

Titsworth: How do you know it's real?

why not? it seems real to me. besides, i think i've read
about him sampling the shining soundtrack elsewhere.

offline steve mcqueen from caerdydd (United Kingdom) on 2002-07-24 19:29 [#00322987]

manicminer: i think archrival thinks its fake because the
guy who did the interview also did the drukqs.com joke site.
the interview itself is SO obviously not faked... afx's
typing style is um how can i put this - quite unique.

offline weatheredstoner from same shit babes. (United States) on 2002-07-24 19:43 [#00322996]

I think it might be real. But thats just a guess from

My first impression was the interview is fake or really
strange, there are no sentences, and Richard says things we
already heard before, from different interviews.
Can't decide though.

offline Xanatos from New York City (United States) on 2002-07-24 20:07 [#00323010]
Points: 3316 Status: Moderator | Show recordbag

I think its fake.
Tits: He did say that elsewhere -- that's why its easy to
believe when its duplicated here
Steve: His style is unique -- that's why its easy to be
plagarized

The whole thing is overdone, all the I reckon...lush...etc.
sound forced to me. I don't know for sure though.

offline titsworth from Washington, DC (United States) on 2002-07-24 22:22 [#00323165]

he repeats himself sometimes. anyways, this interview is a
lot like some of his others, especially from the drukqs era
where he gave sincere responses. i dunno what to say, the
answers just sound like richard to me. if it's fake then
it's an amazing fake.

i can confirm that this interview is in fact 100% genuine.
You only need to read the thing to realise that, unless of
course you are one of the multitude of little pricks that
call yourself fans, little more than fan-knees, and you wont
even get that either, that still suckle on the tit of the
nearest webmaster reciting the well worn afx facts until you
know them by heart, its one thing to be part of a 'scene',
something else altogether to 'get' the scene. But like all
the rest of teh crappy speculation that goes hand in hand
with afx i still occassionally get amused with this, it is,
it isn't, type argument pishflap.

everyone that its a fake! and Yeah mick aint got a life.

hey mr queen, you know what your talking about, you sound
like a gen up geezer, dont pander to these fuckwits, you
know its real, i know for a fact its real. leave them to
argue over joyboys cum rags, let them rot, they aint fans,
just fucking hangers on who would dismiss any afx track
until joyboy lovingly patted their malformed heads and said
it was 'da reel fingk'.
