The Swifty style of Squarepusher. That is a wonderful style. I miss all of his jazz style music, but now he's moved on and i'm sad. =(

I miss the Beatles, and their ability to do both depressing and happy songs depending on their mood and feelings, unlike Radiohead which go out of their way to be badass and create dark music even when they MUST be happy at least SOME times, I mean Thom just had a fucking child and he's rich and he has a great life. Show your true feelings like Lennon, you ugly little pretentious Brit.
That's what I miss!

Badass or whatever they think they are, I have a small vocabulary and it failed me there. The depression gets grating! Pretentious SOBs.

not all of their song's are dark, although I agree that most are. But sometimes, arent you in the mood to hear that kind of music? I think thats what the anticipated anyway. And why would you call them pretentious? If the music is good, and you like the artist, its good music. If the music is good, but u dont like the artist, its pretentious.

I think Radiohead is the second coming of Christ, only the Beatles are better... so don't go thinking I'm putting Yorke and the boyz down. But I was listening to them earlier and in a bit of a weird mood, and for absolutely no reason I got infuriated that they don't make happier music. I think Thom has it in him to make some great ''Here Comes the Sun'' type tracks. I don't know why it popped into my head. Just random brainstorming, and I came up with the weird idea that Radiohead try too hard to make crazy music and aren't nearly as natural as the Beatles. Or something. Thom could make some amazing songs with more ''poppy'' lighter sensibilities.
Ignore me, I'm rambling! I do that sometimes.

By the way, Let Down is maybe the best music ever made by ANYBODY, that jingly jangly guitar orchestra makes me wet. True.

yeah I think I would like to hear some happier tracks from them, but really when i feel depressed I listen to either radiohead or sunny day real estate (if u havent heard them check em out), i like to have depressing music to match a depressing mood.

They're awesome for that, definitely, but I get the feeling Thom has it in him to make some brighter, more ''natural'' stuff or something, at least SOMETIMES, but he won't because he has an image to uphold, the experimental dark guy... course I don't know the guy, I could be wrong. Maybe he really IS dark as fucking hell and not very jolly. But at least Lennon could make some hardcore angry songs like Plastic Ono Band and then turn around and do a bright optimistic (naive) album like Imagine without giving a shit what his fans or critics think. Thom wants to please the critics and be the outcast, I'm sure of it.
Blablabla.

I miss those miniature pop can you could get. They featured Mario characters. Luigi was the best.
