It has to do with the National Film Boards of Canada... they make educational films, often about about nature. They shared the same kind of mysterious, tranquil feel that BOC do... tough to explain, but you'd understand if you saw them. They liked those films, and they spent some time in Canada early on. Thus... Boards of Canada.

How can anyone get bored of Canada?
No one pays enough attention to Canada to become bored with it...especially Canadians.
Does anyone out there actually wish to be in Canada? Is anyone out there afriad of the imperial might of Canada?
Is the global theatre sick of the incesant banter of our Prime Minister?
