I looked at the thread and now I'm interested. Maybe it has something to do with the way they use PHP to parse the posts before adding them? That's just a random guess though. |

Yeah that's intentional. If someone types too many characters in a link that's distorting the layout of the board. links are processed out side of regular wrapping, and there is a limit for link the length. Now I can't explain it more, since I am not intended to reveal the code structure. It won't cause inconvenience if you don't put too wide text into your links. |

also ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ i noticed when i was cutting and pasting to get all of my message out (on the geodesic domes thread) that i was able to post one quick message after another. when you try to post to quick normally you get a "slow down you cunt" message or something, is that true? |
