"Linear Accelerator" is a weird realise. Some nice electro
tunes on it, and some weird experimental noisy madness.

What happened to him though? Seems like he lost all his
analogue gear in 1998 or something, complete shift in style
and genre, linear accellerator still had 3 tracks that
sounded like the good ol'Gerald, probably old tracks.

I belive his advancement in style has been going gradually
over the years actually. But he still does normal electro,
like the Der Zyklus - Mxzyptik EP that was released this
year. BLOODY FUCKING AMAZING.

I guess the recent surge in remix-work show how he does the
electro bit now, which honestly is not as good as the old
ones - with the exception of the kavinsky one.

there's a new one coming next month (of some cisco ferreira
stuff) on tresor.

I've only just got "Linear Accelerator", it's the best album
I've heard in aaaaaaaaggggeeesss. I can't stop playing it,
it's so good it makes me want to vomit with excitement, I'm
going to put my weathered nutsack on the table and say that
it's as sexy and otherwordly as SAW II. Oh yes.

I love Gesamtkunstwerk or whatever it's called. I really
need the new album when it comes out. Hope it's not as
"boring" as I found the ambient tracks of Linear
Accelerator, but if it is ambient, I hope it's like the Der
Zyklus album, that is IMMENSE.

Maybe I haven't got into them enough, and by ambient I mean
the 20 minute long ones, not the shorter more melodic ones,
those are great.

i heard the white label from ePM publicity
it's a cross between the rephlex arpanet album and linear
accelerator with a dash if the most recent arpanet album on
record makers. i.e the electronic ambient side of things,
very seep, really excellent, if u like aphex, kraftwerk,
hecker etc on that tip - where sound comes first before
rhythm melody harmony etc
respect
can't wait to get my greasy mits on it

/.................../
ah ah great news, its strange 'coz even if the dataphysix
galaxy keep on releasing albums after albums (& god knows
how the latest one for R.Makers was good) i can't get enough
of their sounds. seriously they/he should consider puting
out his live shows 'coz the villette concert in 2006 was
mindblowing : organic & cold at the same time, yes in terms
of pure sound he's a master, he obviously exactly knows what
he's doing
