*shudder*

+CHemical brothers, crystal method and fatboy
slim are breakbeat+

I believe the term is Big Beat..

there's tons of good techno..Nova Mute, Tresor and Soma are
the labels to check..from Richie Hawtin to Neil
Landstrum..(from minimal to harsh and metallic)

Kevin Saunderson
Juan Atkins
Kenny Larkin

FU is such a pivotal track for this sort of music. He's
done some really amazing music in his time...

and I loove Ken Ishii..though his stuff is moving further
and further from Techno

Blake Baxter has done some real classics. It's usually
really simple and dirty but it just sounds soo good!

Did you get the Tresor compilation with some of the best
they've released? You can tell from what time period
they're from but they still would rock if you play them
loud.

actually the best Tresor I have is Demo tracks..It's amazing
how good those tracks sound..all new and fresh artists like
bo v..etc..

I haven't heard any ken ishi for a long time.....

I really liked Jelly tones and the track with the manga
style video, he used to do real culture clash music using
funk, techno and japanese styles without going all world
music nonsense.

Demo tracks? I'll look for that tomorrow..Cheers!

Re:Ken Ishii you should check out Flatspin..it trully
rocks..some of the tracks have the harsh Aphex Acid
quality...

Ken Iishi's Fast Forward & Rewind is totally classic. Heck it was
the first time I heard Squarepusher.
