when I play "1969" by BoC or "packed by a sardine in a dj
box (lbp remix)" by Radiohead, I can't hear the vocals on my
stereo. Is it a wrong setting between my PC and my stereo or
is it just cuz the stereo is a cheap piece of shit? please
help?

get a frequency testing cd or make one, and play it and
record the times when you hear nothing, and look up what
frequency it was at that time on the cd, and that the
frequencys you speakers dont want to play... you may want to
get new speakers....
actually you might just want to fiddle around with the
equliser first.... maybie that will fix it

since it's a cheap packed stereo with included speakers and
an output on only 12,5 watt (sounds good tho, i'm not a
play-louder type). I'm ditching that steroe for a really
motherfucker one when i move to sweden...

Maybe you've got your Left & Right cables set up wrong as it
sounds like it could be a phasing problem...and one channel
is cancelling out the other...

check all your connections & speaker cables...they could be
the wrong way around...

yes, this could be the case or maybe you have a
"surround"-switch on wich cuts up the sound coming from
center where the vocals often are located...
