There's so much of it, so many colors. You know the stuff
that's like purple and blue and it's like gas? That's what
I'm talking about.

you mean, those "clouds" and stuff that the hubble telescope
takes pictures of? Yeah those are pretty damn cool.

And there certainly is a whole lot of space out there, we
are such a tiny and insignificant crumb in the whole of the
universe ;)

Pachi has it! Nublae, they're so beautiful. I think I'm
going to find some picture of nubulae and post them in this
thread, if anyone would like.

Everytime I stare at the moon, I'm in awe that were actually
people up there once, SO far away, walking on it. I'm going
to be up there someday. I must.

As it has been proven that the 'big bang' created the
universe as we know it which has been expanding ever since,
I subscribe to the notion that the universe has actually
been around much longer than the big bang, and has just been
expanding and contracting (pulsating), working as a
component to something much larger (perhaps the universe as
we know it is actually just an atom of hydrogen in an
alternate universe?).

you could be right! but what's the use in trying to
rationalize it? will it make a difference?

I doubt it would really matter, but it would be cool to
know.

Besides, how would you like to walk around thinking "the
unmeasurably huge universe that I live in is no larger than
an atom in the real universe" ?? It'd be pretty damn
depressing, IMO. ;)

but since it's expanding then contracting mabey you are born
again everytime a new expansion occures!
