I'm not sure if this is a new film or just a clever
advertising scam by Mercedes. Just seen the ad on TV... most
of it looking ominously like a car advert. I get it, Its a
new film AND a Mercedes ad campaign rolled neatly into one
....
.... _>FUCK HOLLYWOOD<_

Jeez flea...I'd feel incomplete going to watch one of those
films without being personally sponsored by a major
multi-national myself ...

thanks man :)
can anyone else help clear up the luckystar / mercedes
confusion ? Or is it all true ? Seriously, the merc. logo
got 4 or 5 full-on sequences in a 25 second trailer.....
are we all just consumer monkeys now or what ? don't thay
even bother trying to do it subliminally anymore ? FUCK !!!!

Though the BMW films thing is obviously a big marketing
thing, it's kind of interesting. Among the directors for
those films are Ang Lee and Guy Ritchie. I watched the first
three about a year ago, I imagine they've probably got some
more now..

Have you seen Croupier? I caught it on HBO or Starz a couple
of weeks ago. It was ok. He seemed to have a slightly less
tough style than in the BMW films.

yes and it has David Fincher as well..
I am not saying that what they are doing is selling
out...too late for that..in fact if you are a Hollywood
director you are nothing but a sellout..all of these people
started out shooting ads..they are just revisiting their
roots..this is all second nature..
