New Family Addition!!

Hehehehehehe....I bought my PS2 a friend today.....a
Nintendo Gamecube! Now the two can sit side-by-side and keep
each other company, and I have the best of both worlds!!
(Treated myself to an early birthday present for next
Wednesday- hehehe)

A few weeks back I had battled with myself as to whether or
not to trade in my PS2 for a Gamecube, and didn't. However
this week I also bought a Gameboy Advance with Mario Kart,
and haven't really been happy with the quality of the screen
on it, and was considering taking it back. My sister now has
that. Anyway being a previous N64 owner I do like the
Nintendo stuff, and miss the fact that Sony don't have some
of the titles.....obviously 'cos they're Nintendo branded..

As to which is better, Gamecube only have a few titles
available here in the UK, so it's difficult to say. I don't
think there's much in it at this stage. I had Rogue Leader,
Sonic and Universal Studios (the latter is crappy!!)

The Gamecube's specs are much higher, so I'm guessing that
future releases will be excellent - although I will not be
buying the new Zelda game for it, as it looks shamefull!!

Looking at the book you can even hook up the GBA to the
console and use it as a controller....hmmmm, will have to
look into that!

What consoles have you got???

I'd have to agree that the new Zelda looks like total shit.
And just when you thought that was the worst you had to deal
with, they come up with the name MARIO SUNSHINE.. my fav. 2
games for snes and n64, both horribly mutilated in some way
for the system everybody wants to own anyway.. Let
's hope they will make up for these mistakes with the next
mariokart..

Zelda looks aweful - absolute pants! I bought a magazine
and saw the screen shots. Shitty cartoon style no shading or
lighting effects - just shit!!

An ultra old (=ultra sweet) Compac 100mhz granpa with a
Fujitsu 13.2 inch screen. Used to be a server in my uni. Not

I should put them all under the same roof to connect to a
LAN...
and this is not easy...
anyway... I may make a couple VPNs...

I almost traded the PS2 in for one, but as I had mentioned I
didn't ('cos that wouldv'e been a bad move...)

I actually said to myself yesterday whilst I was in the
store looking at the Gamecube stuff "You're not getting rid
of the PS2...you've been here before...."

....so I bought the Gamecube in addition - hehehe!

Jarworski: Granted some of the pics on that Link (Link get
it??!) are OK - but I still don't like the styling of the
game.

I played Battle Tanx yesterday on my N64 emulator, and I
finished it in some hours with a crazy 62 tank army...
I wonder who uses cheats for games like dat... should be
really retarded...

I took back the Universal Studios game today, and told the
store it was shit! They swapped it for Luigi's
Mansion.....seems quite good. And I also hired NHL Hitz as
well, cool smooth animation in the game.

Link from Zelda looks so much better in Smash Bros.Melee on
Gamecube, than he looks on the new Zelda screenshots.

Nintendo have made it look to childish....it could turn out
to be a big mistake..

Check out the Smash Bros...link
