does anybody know what colour U.I.(phenolphthalein) turns water (neutral)? please i need help. surely someone must know...

It depends.. oops sorry I just recall you noted it was nuetral water... hm.. I believe itsa lite shade of green.. very light. Im not quite sure. I seem to remember.

Phenolphthalein is colourless in neutral solution. It turns purple at pH greater than 8.5

Universal Indicator should be green at neutral pH, so water should be green.
Acid is red, alkaline is blue/purple. Easy! ...and the reason for the question?
