ive looked at ikeas but they are alittle bit pricey and

Have you tried Staples? I suppose it really depends on how
much you want to spend. Or maybe you could try MFI Homeworks
- they're quite reasonable!

when ever i need to make a desk i just take a piece of
glass... put two file cabinets, one of the left one on the
right put the glass on top and voila you got a tight ass
super functional desk!
