This may have been suggested before but... Maybe Phobiazero should add Usernames/Passwords a la Joyrex in order to stop all the cloning that's been going on. Especially if we start to work on this compilation I don't want people to be pretending to be other people. For example we might have an FTP to upload/download songs or to update/change the Conscious Collective website. Someone could pretend to be any one of us and say, "my email is blah@etc.com send me the password." I'd rather that didn't happen. This is just one minor reason but on the whole it would make each member of the messageboard feel more connected with his/her identity on afx.nu. Phobiazero: I'm not sure how much work this would be but I feel it's definately worth the effort. What do you all think? |

We have already told you this feature will get implemented since most of you guys seems to act very childish. ...actually I'm getting EXTREMELY sick of all this - and so are Tunefish. Maybe we won't pay our next webhosting/domain bill. It's laying here on my desk. |

I don't think you should be so hard on the members of the site, and I definately don't think you should shut it down. There are a awhole bunch that act stupid and childish but for the most part people are actually hear discussing AFX and relating topics, just look at the message board! I typed Aphex Twin in google and this was the first result! Don't shut the site down, just implement passwords. Besides, theyre right, its the craziness which makes up the twin community, and alot of it is funny. I just hate when people type shit like "fuck my face!!" into the MB. |
