Laserbeak: they are both great. But, propositions are
propositions. It has to be a real band, damn it.

Preferably a bunch of guys travelling in a van for weeks,
hating each other's smelly feet etc. Coil, with their gay
mentality (they probably take showers each day) and
extremely infrequent gigging do not fall into this category.

Rules must be obeyed, otherwise this MB would be shattered
by assholes only wanting to discuss porn all the time.

primus!

That's reasonable, Primus kicked ass in the early 90s and
their later albums were also decent.

offline forck_02lynix from brooklyn on 2002-07-05 15:13 [#00298073]

hell yeah its reasonable...all three of them are kick ass at
their instruments

Hmm, "all four" would be more up to the point, as Brain
replaced Herb one fine day, which, I'm sure you know.

offline forck_02lynix from brooklyn on 2002-07-05 15:19 [#00298085]
Points: 4000 Status: Regular

of course i know, but "all four" didnt play at "one time"
unless you count dj disk and buckethead which would put you
up to "all five"

sorry about the confusion

offline forck_02lynix from brooklyn on 2002-07-05 15:20 [#00298089]
Points: 4000 Status: Regular

i tend to leave brain out for some reason, and i hate doing
that because ive seen in so many places that brain was
referred to as "the guy who replaced herb" and not as "the
new drummer of primus"

offline Meho Krljic from Beograd (Yugoslavia) on 2002-07-05 15:22 [#00298093]
Points: 6617 Status: Addict

Haha, you're just the nitpicker of a type I like.

And, yeah, Brain prooved he's more than up to the task of
filling Herbs shoes. He blew me away in Godflesh and I was
really amazed to hear his performance in Primus.

Hmm my favourite ROCK BAND (because there are plenty of
electronica bands I could name) is either Linkin Park or
Type O Negative.

offline Deathsmith from Brussels (Belgium) on 2002-07-05 16:01 [#00298158]

And if electronica was included, my favourite bands ever
would be Type O Negative, Underworld, and Lords of Acid.

Joy Division (includes Warsaw and New Order)

I could've sworn I made a post here but I guess it didn't go
through. My 2nd, 3rd, 4th and 5th favorites would be
Legendary Pink Dots, The Cure, NIN and Coil.

is my fav group no doubt!!!

foo fighters, maybe, or nofx.

grandaddy are cool :-) I do like the get up kids lots and
lots, but people call them emo, and say that they just cry a
lot. hmph

I used to like "a" until they released this new stuff....
what a load of crap. 'how ace are buildings' and 'vs monkey
kong' were soooooo much better, i mean they were actually
good!
