hey, my friend had this problem too, either you dont have an
OpenGL compatible video card or your drivers simply aren't
up to date. If you know your card supports OpenGl, go to
your manufacturer's webpage to look for any updated
drivers.

(sometimes its hard to distinguish which is the newest cuz
they often have names like 14.2335253 so just download it if
u havent updated your drivers in a while.)

:)

Yet another victim falls foul of the 'over complexity' issue
of hardware vs software with PC games....its such a joke!

If you work with computers or know a bit about them, then
things aren't too bad. But when I see some people I know who
just want to play games like these or do a bit of word
processing, they haven't got a chance!

Hey - here's an idea! Why doesn't someone invent a machine
that is dedicated to just playing games!! ;-)

You're just jealous cause you couldn't run it on your
machine and had to return it to the store, Chris. The game
is fucking awesome and I am planning on playing it again (as
soon as I complete GTA 3). There are machines just for
games: consoles. People who know nothing about computers and
want to use them should learn. Is that logical?

I'm in a grumpy mood today, as someone might have noticed.

Maybe a little Meho, but when you've spent as much as I have
on hardware over the years just to play games...it gets a
bit silly!

What you will find though Meho, is that the majority of
people couldn't careless about installation problems,
they're not interested in how the computer works, they just
want to run there programs - believe me I see it everyday!
The thing is why should they learn when there is someone to
fix it for them! For example, I drive a car, but how it
works doesn't really interest me....I drive it from A to
B...when I breaks I take it to be fixed.

Consoles you say? What are they?

*he says wearing his PS2 t-shirt* ;)

What's up Meho - why are you grumpy? Its the weekend
soon....go on smile, you know you want to!

:)

Huh, I typed some answers and got sut-off.... Well,
essentially, I said:

The idea that computers/ technology should be just used by
imbecilles on daily basis is scary. Gives me visions of
human race being ruled by a small technocratic elite.
